Community Reinvestment
The Eastern Pennsylvania Organizing Project (EPOP) negotiated an agreement with First Union Bank that committed $337 million in housing and commercial investment into low and moderate income neighborhoods and saved eleven inner city bank branches from closure in Philadelphia. EPOP has won $45 million dollars in new public investment to rehabilitate abandoned housing and stabilize city neighborhoods. New hope for cities
Camden Churches Organized for People (CCOP) won state passage of the Camden Recovery Act in 2002, providing $175 million in new state investment for housing and community redevelopment in one of the nation?private investment in Camden for the first time in decades.
Fighting Blight at Its Roots New Orleans All Congregations Together (ACT) reduced the time it takes for a person taking care of abandoned property to obtain ownership of the property from 30 years to 3 years. ACT helped redevelop hundreds of blighted property through passage of new city ordinances that speed up the transfer of abandoned property and create incentives for owners to donate vacant property for reuse.

Accountability Faith Works in Roanoke won $1.3 million in targeted community development investment in Southeast Roanoke with community accountability.
Community Priorities Kansas City Church Community Organization (CCO) in Missouri won a Livable Neighborhoods Campaign, shifting $9.5 million in funding to basic city services, i.e. policing, codes enforcement, street lighting, dangerous building demolition, street sweeping and resurfacing, catch basin repair, tree trimming, and vacant lot cleanup.
Rebuilding Neighborhoods San Diego Organizing Project (SDOP) won a new commercial complex, 160 new homes, and a new elementary school as a result of an eighteen year neighborhood revitalization campaign.
